Summer:

Summer is a fantastic time to enjoy outdoor activities, and Mooroolbark is no exception. One of the most popular events is the Mooroolbark Foodie Night Market, which takes place every February at Red Earth Park. The market features food trucks, live music, pop-up bars and plenty of local stalls selling handmade goods. Another popular event in the area is the Yardparty, which is a pop-up event that takes place in various locations around the suburb. The Yardparty features live music, food trucks, craft beer and wine.

Autumn:

As the leaves start to change colours and the weather cools down, there are still plenty of exciting events to enjoy in Mooroolbark. The Yarra Valley Beer and Cider Festival is a popular event held every March at Rochford Wines. This festival features over 100 different types of craft beer and cider from local and international breweries, live music and food trucks. If you’re looking for something more family-friendly, the Lilydale Show is held every April and features fun activities for everyone, such as rides, games, animal exhibits and show bags.

Winter:

Winter is a time for warm blankets, hot drinks and cosy nights in, but that doesn’t mean there are no events to enjoy in Mooroolbark. Winterfest is a popular family event held every July at Red Earth Park and features an ice-skating rink, snow play area, food trucks, hot chocolate and live music. Another fun event to attend during winter is the Winter Night Market, which takes place at Queen Victoria Market in Melbourne from June to August. This market features over 30 street food vendors, clothing and accessory stalls, live music and winter-themed activities.

Spring:

As the flowers start to bloom and the weather warms up, there is no shortage of exciting events to enjoy in and around Mooroolbark. The Yarra Valley Grape Grazing Festival is a popular event held every November at Rochford Wines. The festival showcases the best wines from the region and features live music, food trucks and activities for the whole family. Another popular event is the Tesselaar Tulip Festival, which takes place in Silvan from September to October. This festival features over a million tulips in bloom, live music, food stalls and children’s activities.
